Arethusa

Deep within the Crete Mountains is the Arethusa. From the joining of the two highest peaks streaks a large waterfall, seeming to slow from nowhere. But the falls aren't the true Aerthusa, it's what is behind it; a huge cave that stretches back and down for miles. The sides of the cave are a dark red shade, laced with veins of gold. Limestone stalagmites and stalactites jut from most of the surface, leaving only one smooth, worn path in and out. Within the depths of the cave sits a golden lake; the glassy surface only disturbed by the occasional drop of water that drips from a large stalactite overhead. A large ledge hangs out over the shimmering lake.
